    New Benefits for You

    • Hiring Bonus: $1000 for new hires ($500 after 6 months of completed training; additional $500 after 12 months).

    • Minimum of 20 hours/week required.

    • Emergency Shift Bonuses: $100 for 24-hour shifts and $200 for 48-hour shifts picked up within 24 hours of the weekend.

    Competitive Pay Rates

    • Part-Time Weekday/Training: $17/hr

    • Weekend/Full-Time: $20/hr

    • For 24/48-hour shifts, which include sleep overnights (unpaid sleep time ranging from 5 to 8 hours per shift).

    • Work up to 1 weekend a month; earn up to $320 for a 24-hour shift or $640 for a 48-hour shift.

    Responsibilities

    • Engage individuals in activities and community outings, promoting social interaction.

    • Assist with personal care, medication administration, and meal preparation.

    • Maintain a clean and organized living environment.

    • Transport individuals to appointments and outings, ensuring their safety.

    • Implement individualized care plans and behavior support strategies.

    • Document observations and communicate effectively with team members.

    • Provide emotional support and advocacy for individuals.

    • Attend training sessions and staff meetings for professional development.

    Requirements

    • First aid, CPR certification, and medication administration training (reimbursed by employer).

    • Valid driver's license, safe and reliable vehicle with valid insurance.

This role is pivotal in assisting our residents with daily living skills, goal development, and fostering a person-centered environment that promotes independence and self-worth. As a permanent resident of the home, you’ll play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing environment while being on-call to ensure our residents’ needs are met.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Leadership and Program Direction: Lead the residential program, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment. Provide guidance to staff, ensuring high-quality care and promoting the personal development and independence of residents.

    • Teaching and Mentoring: Utilize skills in teaching and mentoring to assist residents with daily living skills, including personal hygiene, cleaning, and cooking. Employ effective strategies to encourage positive behavior and support residents in achieving their treatment goals.

    • Crisis Management and Behavior Support: Apply knowledge of preventive and de-escalation techniques in crisis situations. Skillfully manage resident behaviors, employing strategies to correct or ignore as appropriate without escalating conflicts.

    • Health and Safety: Administer first aid and CPR when necessary. Conduct monthly fire drills, quarterly emergency preparedness drills, and maintain routine safety checks. Ensure a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for all residents.

    • Communication and Documentation: Maintain clear and effective communication with Enrich Management, staff, and residents. Document resident behaviors and incidents accurately, ensuring all treatment and safety protocols are followed.

    • Transportation and Activity Support: Provide transportation for residents to various activities, appointments, and errands, reinforcing a sense of community involvement and independence.

    • Training and Compliance: Participate in and ensure compliance with all required training, including annual updates. Orient new residents to their living quarters and daily routines, promoting a sense of belonging and community.

    Requirements:

    • Preferred Experience: Working with adults with disabilities.

    • Certifications: First aid, CPR, and medication administration (training available).

    • Driving Requirements: Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and valid insurance.

    • Background Check: Comprehensive check required.

    • Insurance: Minnesota compliant car insurance.

    • Skills: Excellent communication, crisis management, and calm under pressure.

    • Tobacco Policy: All forms of smoking or tobacco use are prohibited while on duty or on premises.
